ECG Machine

ECG Machine
An electrocardiogram (ECG) is one of the simplest and fastest tests used to evaluate the heart. An ECG recording machine will usually show your heart rhythm and electrical activity as a graph displayed electronically or printed on paper. For an ambulatory ECG, the ECG machine will store the information about your heart electronically, which can be accessed by a doctor when the test is complete. An electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) records the electrical signal from the heart to check for different heart conditions. Electrodes are placed on the chest to record the heart’s electrical signals, which cause the heart to beat. The signals are shown as waves on an attached computer monitor or printer.
